All the rates below are just a starting point and can be much more depending of time, parts, and other variables.
Minimum for any kind of work or to do an inspection on a clock is $40.00. As time goes into removing a works from the case and examining and testing gears.
At-Home Service Call - House Call
$175 Minimum to come out to examine, quote, oil and, if possible, service/correct the problem a clock may have within the city.
$Varies Outside or outskirts of city is based on travel time.
* If the clocks problem(s) cannot be solved on site a quote will be given as to the added cost to fix the clock.
**Work is typically not guaranteed without a proper cleaning.
***This does not include replacement of broken or missing parts or proper cleaning of the clocks movement. Proper clock movement cleaning requires the movement to be brought back to shop for complete break down and thorough cleaning and testing and repair.***

3 Key Holes - Clock Movement Cleaning, Oiling and Adjusting - Time, Chime and Hour Strike
$225 minimum plus cost of parts if any need replacing or repair and go up depending on the level of work and repairs required.

Grandfather Clock Packing up for Moving
$175 minimum and up. Clock Cases with shelves and or tubes are typically an additional $25-50 more.
This is just to safely pack up a grandfather clock and secure all loose parts like the weights and pendulum. Also, securing the hammers, suspensions spring and rods or tubes from rattling and breaking during the transport.
Clocks case will be securely wrapped in protective materials for its protection from damage when it comes time for movers to transport the clock. Pendulum is usually packed inside the case and the weights, key, crank and papers are packed in a separate box.
****This does not included transporting or shipping the Grandfather clock. This is not crating of the clock. If crating is interested please let us know.****

This is just the set up of the clocks at your property and not cleaning or oiling or repairs.
Clock will examined and notes will be taken on damage or missing parts if necessary.
Clock case will be leveled.
Movement will be checked for placement in case and set.
Weights and pendulum will be hung.
Beat will be set and adjusted.
Time will be set along with moon dial if applicable.
* If clock does not work or continue working after setup an attempt may be taken to find and possibly solve the problem.
**Missing or broken parts will be replaced amd/or order if possible at an additional cost.**

The movement works is removed from the clock and a replacement movement is ordered to fit in the case and replace the existing clocks movement.
Brass works made after 1950's maybe to worn to cost effectively repair versus purchasing a near identical one that is still made and will last years longer versus a repair.
Works is guaranteed for 1 year for quartz and 3 years for mechanical brass movements from Hermle or 5 years from Howard Miller.
$Price Based on Movement cost and shipping plus $75 Install minimum
The movement works is removed from the clock and a replacement movement is ordered to fit in the case and replace the existing clocks movement.
